Jump straight into a fast paced environment! As part of our site maintenance engineering team you will swiftly identify, trouble shoot, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime. From utilising root cause analysis techniques, carrying out preventive maintenance checks to updating maintenance records, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our equipment runs smoothly.

What you will do

  • Quickly diagnose problems with the equipment and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Ensuring all preventative maintenance checks are carried out On Time In Full (OTIF).
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks, in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Managing contractors on site (direct & 3rd party)
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the operation and maintenance of the sorters and conveyors, implementing changes as necessary to enhance performance and reliability.

What you will have:

  • A minimum qualification in electrical, electrical installation or electrical bias at level 3.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance engineer/ field service engineer/ installation engineer within a logistics, automation, manufacturing, production or sortation environment.
  • Strength in operating autonomously to effectively fault find through root cause analysis and implement quick preventive solutions.
  • Good knowledge of PLC controls (Siemens or Allen Bradley is advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in IT skills (Microsoft office/ BMS/ maintenance engineering software)

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: 6am - 6pm - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (60 hours)

Week 2: 6am - 6pm - Wednesday, Thursday (24 hours)

Week 3: 2:30pm - 2:30am - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (60 hours)

Week 4: 2:30pm - 2:30am - Wednesday, Thursday (24 hours)
