Job Description:

As a Maintenance Technician I at HelloFresh, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our production facility. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance tasks, support preventive maintenance efforts, and help ensure our equipment and infrastructure are operating safely and efficiently. Your work directly supports the productivity of our warehouse teams and the quality of the food products we deliver nationwide.

Shifts Available:

Sunday to Wednesday - 9pm to 7:30am

Wednesday to Saturday - 9pm to 7:30am

What You’ll Do:

    •    Identify, schedule, and perform repairs, renovations, inspections, and waste-reduction improvements.    •    Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs to reduce downtime.    •    Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and mechanical systems.    •    Support building systems and heavy equipment that power our operations.    •    Monitor open work orders/service tickets and follow up to ensure timely resolution.    •    Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside contractors for various maintenance needs.    •    Assist with HVAC and refrigeration system maintenance.    •    Conduct general facility maintenance such as:    •    Assembling/moving furniture and office equipment    •    Installing or repairing doors, locks, and fixtures    •    Patching/painting walls, and other minor building repairs.    •    Promptly report and communicate any safety concerns to leadership.    •    Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company policies.    •    Perform additional general duties as needed, as assigned by management.

What You’ll Bring:

    •    High School Diploma or GED required    •    Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance (preferred)    •    Working knowledge of tools, techniques, and procedures used in facility maintenance    •    Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and follow instructions    •    Skilled in the use of hand and power tools    •    Strong attention to detail and safety awareness    •    Ability to work independently and within a team environment    •    Effective written and verbal communication skills in accordance with OSHA standards

Physical Requirements:

    •    Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, and climb for long periods    •    Comfortable lifting and moving up to 50lbs regularly    •    Ability to work at heights on ladders    •    Use of hands in repetitive motions throughout the shift

Work Environment:       

    •    Temperature-controlled facility ranging from ambient to -20°F    •    Exposure to dust, grease, fumes, loud noise, and mechanical/electrical hazards    •    Possible exposure to outdoor weather when working with external systems or equipment
