We are seeking an experienced, strategic and results-oriented EMEA MSP Leader to build and scale our Managed Services Provider (MSP) business across EMEA. This role will focus on driving adoption of our next-generation data storage solutions through MSP partners, with a strong emphasis on compliance, data sovereignty, and regional regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the storage and infrastructure ecosystem and the MSP landscape. You will also have hands-on experience in working with MSPs, and the ability to navigate diverse legal and regulatory landscapes across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Experience in partner sales from identifying opportunities through deal support, and the ability to build strategic relationships with key partners is essential. A strong understanding of how services companies in the technology space drive revenue is key.
Responsibilities- MSP Strategy & Partner Management (EMEA Focus)
- Develop and execute a regionally tailored MSP strategy to drive recurring revenue growth through storage-as-a-service.
- Identify, onboard, and enable new Managed Services Providers (MSPs) within a defined set of accounts to generate new and recurring revenue.
- Manage and grow relationships with key MSPs, system integrators, and regional cloud service providers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned MSPs, ensuring continuous engagement and mutual success.
- Collaborate with MSPs on joint sales strategies to drive bookings and revenue growth for both Pure and its partners.
- Promote and sell MSP services in partnership with field and channel teams to new and existing customers.
- Design and deliver training, enablement, and technical onboarding programs for MSPs at varying levels of maturity.
- Represent Pure’s value proposition to both business and technical stakeholders within the MSP ecosystem.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to build MSP-specific GTM programs, pricing strategies, and sales enablement tools.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on data sovereignty, ensuring MSP offerings comply with GDPR, local cloud regulations, and industry-specific mandates through collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
- Gather partner and customer feedback to inform product roadmap, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Lead business planning and performance tracking for the MSP segment, including revenue targets, partner growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Track, measure, and report on MSP sales performance and partner activities.
- Develop cross-functional action plans to address challenges and expand growth opportunities.
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress and escalate issues when support is needed.
- Represent Pure at industry events related to cloud services, data protection, and the MSP ecosystem.
- Track and engage with sovereign cloud initiatives across EMEA to position Pure as the platform of choice for sovereign-aligned infrastructure.
- Partner closely with GTM teams to position Evergreen//One, Portworx, and EDC solutions as core enablers of managed services offerings across key use cases (e.g. AI, backup, data protection, analytics).
- Coach internal field and partner teams on best practices for engaging, positioning, and co-selling with MSPs, driving alignment between Pure direct sales and the MSP ecosystem.
- Influence the design and evolution of Pure’s EMEA MSP partner program in collaboration with EMEA Leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Minimum of 8 years in partner management, or business development roles with MSPs with proven track record of building and managing relationships with MSP partners and driving revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the MSP landscape, business models, and challenges.
- Deep understanding of data sovereignty laws, cloud compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements across the region (e.g., GDPR, SCHREMS II, local data localization mandates).
- Strong business acumen with experience in partner revenue models and consumption-based services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with executives, partner leadership teams, partner account teams and customer facing teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in forecasting, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Problem solving mindset to drive solutions that benefit both Pure and MSP
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability to see initiatives through to delivery, including in collaboration with field teams and functions
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages (e.g. French, German, Spanish) a plus. Cultural fluency across European markets desirable.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Staines office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
