As a Manager in Business Process & Risk Control Sox, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping Agoda’s control environment and supporting our ambitious growth. In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Guide and support process owners and management in designing and implementing effective internal controls
- Lead and participate in finance transformation and process improvement projects, driving efficiency and innovation
- Develop, maintain, and enhance internal control documentation, including end-to-end process mapping, risk assessments, and SOX compliance requirements
- Initiate and execute process and control improvements to strengthen the control environment
- Embed a culture of risk awareness and ownership across the organization
- Support internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely remediation of identified issues
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of remediation plans and key risk indicators
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in audit, compliance, process, quality, or risk control
- Strong knowledge of SOX, COSO, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High integrity, ownership mindset, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Fluency in English
It’s Great if you Have:
- Experience with finance transformation or process improvement projects in a multinational or tech-driven environment
- Familiarity with Agoda’s internal systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, SAP, EBE, TOBO, YCS, ePass, Matchbook, LightSabre, Pandora)
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience supporting SOX or similar compliance programs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment
