ABOUT THE ROLE…Pure Storage, is seeking for a Unified Endpoint Management Manager responsible for the end to end user’s experience of our endpoints. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing talented IT team, fueling a high growth organization and leader in Primary Storage Arrays. We are looking for a leader who is obsessed with employee experience and has the technical depth in endpoint management to deliver a world class experience to our employees.
You will be an intricate part of driving the Digital Workplace team initiatives, during a period of rapid growth as we embarked on our digital transformation journey. As a key partner to Pure Security Office and Engineering, your work will directly improve employee satisfaction by identifying new trends and introducing features and functionality to increase Puritan productivity and enhanced security.
We’re looking for a technical leader with a proven track record in delivering end user solutions that are functional, secure, scalable, and reliable. In addition to having a solid technical background, this candidate will provide leadership for and management of the systems, services, and support provided by the Endpoint team. Candidates should also be effective in communicating with all levels of the organization. An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions simply and logically.
What You'll Do
- Develop Strategy and Roadmaps for End User Computing Services and drive execution that aligns with business strategies
- Partner with key stakeholders across all business units
- Responsible for the provisioning and endpoint management of over ~8,000 desktops, laptops, and tablets, across Window, MacOS, ChromeOS, Mobile, VDI platforms to employees across the globe.
- Serves as a consultative resource for major systems related projects, which include upgrades, conversions, implementations, and decommissions.
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, processes and associated training plans for ensuring effective support for Puritans inquiries or issues.
- Responsible for overseeing the daily tasks and projects of the Endpoint team which includes technical support, point of contact for issues, report generation, monitoring of service levels, and providing an escalation interface for customer services issues.
- Partner with the Service Desk delivery manager on ticket escalations and ticket resolution
- Oversees system troubleshooting, providing expert support as necessary for ensuring quick recovery of systems.
- Manages vendors and contractors in services for achieving the strategy for the area; develop cost/benefit analysis for justifying recommendations.
- Regularly reviews industry trends that may provide opportunities for improving the technology and/or service levels provided to Puritans.
- Trains, coaches, and develops teammates in execution of their day-to-day assignments, as well as their career progression.
- Build a high-performing team culture focusing on global communication, career development
- Consistent demonstration of ownership & accountability in fulfilling commitments
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
- Advanced/Expert Technical Hands-on experience with desktop management, MDM and software distribution experience (JAMF, Workspace One, SCCM, Intune)
- Ability to assess complex systems, business processes and define requirements for solutions
- Strong ITIL experience required with deep functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask activities within a dynamic fast-paced environment
