With a combination of world-class syndicated tools and custom insight solutions, we are the eyes and ears in the markets that matter and the insights behind our clients’ next big idea.We offer a comprehensive onboarding program for successful candidates, and the role will provide extensive skill-based learning opportunities and a long-term career development plan within the business.We are seeking a Technical Team Lead to help establish a Center of Excellence focused on promoting the use of AI tools—particularly Microsoft 365 Copilot and the Microsoft Power Platform—as we transition to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.Mintel has a rich history of producing in-depth content and data. With the rise of AI, we see an opportunity to unlock even more value from our internal knowledge, enabling faster insights and smarter decision-making. This role will also help every department across the business identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and increase productivity.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the development and deployment of enterprise AI tools to drive internal productivity across Mintel.
  • Consult with departments across the business to identify high-impact use cases for AI and automation.
  • Participate in strategic planning with the AI Steering Team to prioritize initiatives and align efforts with business goals.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Engineering/Architecture teams on projects requiring deeper technical integration.
  • Stay current with evolving AI technologies and foster a culture of continuous learning within your team, in partnership with the Futures team.
  • Manage the lifecycle of AI agents, including monitoring usage, maintaining performance, and evaluating ROI.
  • Define and report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of AI tools, providing regular updates to the Global Head of IT Support and the AI Steering Team.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Microsoft 365 platform experience
  • Experience with the potential for AI assistant tools like ChatGPT, CoPilot, Claude, or others.
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience building AI agents using CoPilot Studio and/or ChatGPT Custom GPTs
  • Experience with centralized task tracking tools (we use Atlassian Jira)
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to showcase your work to business stakeholders
  • People management skills - either experience, or the desire to learn
  • Comfortable working across time zones in a global business with the potential to travel to other Mintel offices
