You will …
  • Design, implement, and maintain Engagement programs to continuously improve employee experience and contribute to a high-performing organization linked to our values. 
  • Support Green Chef and EveryPlate over 3 locations and manage a team of up to 4 employees throughout locations. 
  • Own the creation and implementation of the Onboarding and Offboarding Program for Hourly and Salaried employees.  Ensure that it is streamlined across 10 locations,
  • Create a 30, 60, 90 Onboarding Plan for Salaried Employees.
  • Support Distribution Centers with a headcount of up to 1,000 hourly employees;
  • Assess the effectiveness of programs for continuous improvement - identify gaps in systems and processes so you may propose/build solutions to meet our employees' diverse needs best;
  • Partner with Local HR and Operations leaders to ensure that engagement is meeting their needs and the needs of the business;
  • Ensure streamlined engagement amongst all locations in partnership with other team members;
  • Foster strong internal partnerships with DE & I, Talent Marketing, & ERGs to ensure collaboration throughout initiatives;
  • Support in the management of an Entertainment & Office budget of up to $500,000 in support of all locations;
  • Become a key leader by driving change management, encouraging effective communication, and partnering with the Culture and Engagement Team nationwide. 
  • This role is hybrid and based out of a Distribution Center.

  • Customer service focused - hospitality and a contagious positive attitude are key;
  • Able to self-manage on a day-to-day basis based on your roles and responsibilities, but not afraid to ask questions and escalate quickly when you need assistance

 

At a minimum, you have...

  • Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
  • 2+ years of work experience in employee engagement or similar experience 
  • 2+ years of direct management experience 
  • Proficiency with Google Apps (i.e., Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets), Microsoft Suite, and video conferencing;
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity;
  • Must be able to commute to and work from a field Distribution Center location 
  • (examples: Newark, NJ, Irving, TX,  Phoenix, AZ);
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the year 
  • Bilingual/Multilingual candidates preferred
