Manager, Demand Planning & Order Management

We are looking for a manager to lead our demand planning and order management function and drive improvements in our forecasting KPIs. Reporting into Associate Director, Sales & Operations Planning, you will work cross-functionally to strengthen our forecasting capabilities and drive supply chain improvements/ optimization. This is a key role with significant impact on all areas of the business.

- Lead a team of 3 demand planners / order management specialists, developing a strong team culture and improving existing processes
- Build demand planning knowledge and processes within the team; train and coach new and existing members on forecasting best practices and excellence; build a strong culture of continuous improvement within the team
- Ensure the accurate flow of demand and order information throughout our systems, enabling HelloFresh boxes to be produced and delivered on time each week. Improve our processes for order validation and treatment.
- Identify and drive changes to improve box, recipe, and SKU level forecast accuracy, via better inputs and / or forecasting models; gather and apply deep business context to enhance forecasts, and build processes to make these improvements scalable and sustainable
- Report performance KPIs in stakeholder and leadership meetings with clear action plan for improvements
- Be a data champion for the Planning team - support in automating processes, performing complex analysis, and providing meaningful and actionable insights to improve team and business performance;
- Gather and analyze historical and forward-looking data to develop short and long term forecasts, in collaboration with Marketing, Product, Culinary and our global Data Science teams
- Communicate forecasts broadly across the organization, and at a cadence and level of detail suitable for each stakeholder
- All other duties, as assigned

- 3+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, S&OP, or similar roles
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field; strong mathematical / statistical skills
- Proficiency in computer applications/ software (Google Sheets, Excel, SQL), complemented with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, while being able to prioritize, achieve objectives, and meet deadlines
- IBF CPF, APICS CPIM or similar certifications considered an asset
