Wayfair Professional’s North American Business to Business Sales (“B2B”) team is seeking a collaborative, analytical-oriented thought leader to help drive Wayfair Professional’s B2B agenda. The role will be a part of the B2B Design Services / Sales Enablement team to drive the discovery, growth, and profitability of a design sales team at Wayfair. While our site and app experience allow for seamless self-service, our higher-value customers benefit from sales support. This is an opportunity to work on a blank slate / white canvas part of the business, wear multiple hats as we grow and write the playbook. You will be in a highly visible, cross functional and impact heavy role with P&L responsibility. What you’ll do: 

  • Grow our B2B Design Services business within Wayfair by using analytics and business critical insights to drive program strategy, ensuring cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helping to drive new initiatives forward
  • Help develop the long term vision to grow a profitable program, while delivering a high quality customer experience. You will help create 3-6 month roadmaps to bring your plans to life  
  • Identify gaps in product offering, (designer and customer experience), recommending solutions to improve program performance (including designer productivity, process redesign, go to market strategy)
  • Partner with virtual designers and managers to build and deliver a best in class design experience and achieve key performance indicators 
  • Collaborate with category management, merchandising, marketing, data science, analytics, engineering, product management to execute on strategic priorities
  • Engage in a high energy, focused and dynamic work environment where there can be rapid changes in products, promotions, offerings and operations 

What you’ll need: 

  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required, quantitative major plus 
  • Track record of driving tangible results across teams in a fast paced / ambiguous environment
  • Ability to build trust and influence with senior executives, sales agents and cross functional partners 
  • Crisp, clear, tailored communication and an affinity for socializing complexity with ease to a variety of audiences
  • Fluency in Excel / analyses and ability to quickly draw insights with data is required. Experience with database queries / SQL /  Google Big Query / Looker, a plus
  • A tenacious, entrepreneurial and ownership mindset 
  • A strong desire to see the team around you thrive
  • A ‘get stuff done’ mentality with a highly collaborative attitude
  • An insatiable appetite to understand “why” something is the way it is (customer needs, backend data infrastructure, data science models, test results, etc.)
