MongoDB’s mission is to empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data. We enable organizations of all sizes to easily build, scale, and run modern applications by helping them modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI. Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available in more than 115 regions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Atlas allows customers to build anywhere—on the edge, on premises, or across cloud providers. With offices worldwide and over 175,000 developers joining MongoDB every month, it’s no wonder that leading organizations, like Samsung and Toyota, trust MongoDB to build next-generation, AI-powered applications.

We’re looking for someone to join our Digital Acquisition team to help drive MongoDB’s customer acquisition strategy across paid channels. As a Manager, Digital Acquisition, you’ll develop informed strategies aimed at capturing the attention of our developer audience, and converting them into customers.

Hands-on experience executing performance marketing campaigns across display and paid social channels is a must. The right candidate will also be results-driven, with experience interpreting data and making informed, data-driven decisions.

This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in the United States.

In particular, you will:
  • Own the global display program from start to finish, from strategy and execution, to optimizations and reporting
  • Support the self-serve paid social program, and drive the retargeting program across both display and paid social channels
  • Work closely with our media agency and 3rd-party display vendors to stand up new campaigns, manage deliverables, ensure timely and seamless execution, and capture and apply learnings to future initiatives
  • Partner with marketers across Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Web on cross-functional projects, and help drive visibility of our paid programs across the teams
  • Work closely with our Marketing Operations and Analytics teams to analyze the performance of ongoing initiatives, and leverage insights to help inform new strategies at all phases of the funnel
  • Leverage digital platforms and analytics tools to gather data, extract insights, design experiments, and make informed decisions that align to company and departmental goals and objectives
  • Work with your manager to develop budget plans and forecasts, and determine spend allocations across channels and campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging market trends and best practices, and apply the learnings to the channels you manage
We’re looking for someone with…
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience building, managing, and monitoring performance marketing campaigns globally
  • B2D or B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS/Self-Serve. 2+ years of experience in marketing to a technical audience desired
  • Direct experience managing campaigns across Google display, Meta, and LinkedIn. Paid search experience a plus
  • Experience working with and managing relationships with digital agencies and 3rd-party display vendors
  • Organized, with experience keeping track of multiple campaigns at once, prioritizing work based on business impact, and referencing past activities for insights
  • Critical thinker, with the ability to quickly ascertain cross-functional needs, understand how these needs ladder up to marketing and company objectives, and make informed recommendations to non-analytical audiences
  • Experience working with content and design teams, including strategizing with creatives on campaign needs, submitting requests based on paid media best practices, establishing clear timelines for deliverables, and providing constructive feedback
  • Strong track record of achieving campaign goals and business objectives
