Our Opportunity: 

Chewy is looking for a dynamic Recruiting Manager to join our team onsite in Mount Juliet, TN, and help us continue to build incredible talent for this rapidly growing eCommerce business. As a recruiting leader and champion, you will inspire, develop, and motivate a team of passionate recruiters on strategy, operations, and hiring delivery. You will be responsible for designing an ongoing recruiting strategy, effectively building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders, managing and inspiring a recruiting team, and achieving headcount targets and KPIs. To be successful, you will bring a proven track record of building and innovating with a high passion for creating and maturing a world-class recruiting team. 

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Engage and partner with senior-level stakeholders as the recruiting SME on market trends, recruiting metrics, operational processes, systems, and tools 
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of recruiters to identify, screen, and hire high-quality talent 
  • Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose business needs and identify hiring trends 
  • Successfully collaborate with internal partners (HRBP, Compensation, etc.) to achieve intended talent attraction and hiring outcomes 
  • Assist in driving a culture of diversity and inclusion 
  • Responsible for creating a phenomenal candidate experience
  • Track goals, metrics, and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly communicate status and results
  • Propose and implement ongoing innovations and improvements to the recruitment process 
  • Regularly connect with new hires to ensure a great candidate experience translates 

 

What You'll Need: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment, or equivalent managerial experience outside of recruiting 
  • 3+ years of experience managing recruiting teams or leading programs
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
  • Proven track record of applying a data-driven approach to build an innovative team
  • Successful track record of direct sourcing candidates 
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to manage multiple demands and priorities
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Savvy with the latest tech and tools
  • Position may require travel
