We’re looking for a Manager, Global Facilities (EMEA) to join the Global Facilities team on a 14 month contract. Your role will be to ensure Hootsuite’s real estate portfolio, facilities operations, strategic space planning, and capital projects run efficiently, achieve the desired outcomes, and come in on time and on budget. You will lead the EMEA Facilities team but will partner closely with the rest of the Global Facilities team to ensure we are: providing exceptional customer service, streamlining processes and delivering the best employee experience in SaaS. While working remotely or in a hybrid work arrangement, a blend of virtual (in accordance with Hootsuite’s distributed workforce strategy), and in Hootsuite’s London office, you will report to the Director, People Operations. Please note that this role will require travel from time to time. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide leadership and day-to-day management for the EMEA based Facilities team, and coaching and guidance for the North America Facilities team on an as needed basis with a special focus on professional development and coaching to support a high level of engagement
  • Management of lease renewals and negotiations, finding new spaces and consolidating offices as required by the business
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, change management and communications to ensure Facilities projects meet the unique needs of each team and location
  • Oversee all EMEA Facilities related purchasing;  work closely with the Procurement and Finance on RFP processes and negotiations with vendors
  • Oversee the development of detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, communication plans, and senior stakeholder reporting for EMEA construction projects while also maintaining focus on diversity and inclusion, corporate security and privacy
  • Support Facilities leadership to build, manage and ensure the successful implementation of the annual Global Facilities Capital Plan and operational budgets are on track
  • Ensure all EMEA offices are running efficiently by partnering with landlords, key suppliers and working with internal teams to maximize effectiveness of operations
  • Collaborate on development and implementation of the health and safety strategy for Hootsuite’s EMEA offices
  • Liaise with the Stakeholders to deliver global events, regional socials, and other activities
  • Oversee the operational components of our regional car program
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Proven working experience as a leader, extensive portfolio management and people management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management courses or equivalent preferred
  • Well rounded knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, change management, and project management
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skill
