What you’ll do:
- Manage the Content Safety Ops team, developing and maintaining a robust content enforcement program that ensures Pinners adhere to Community Guidelines and Advertising Guidelines.

- Drive industry best practices and standards while enabling scalable outcomes for operational teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and provide guidance to employees on content enforcement matters.
- Work closely with Pinterest’s policy, legal, product, and engineering teams to create long-term strategies and short-term solutions for operational processes, tools, and policy gaps.
- Facilitate and enable a high performance team culture. Coach direct reports in navigating ambiguity, finding solutions and accomplishing goals despite incomplete information.
- Embrace ambiguity, change, and a growth mindset; drive a track record of success for the team.
- Resolve escalations and focus on remediations to operational processes, procedures, and policy gaps.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, law, public policy or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of direct people management experience
- 5+ years previous experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, or Enforcement operations or policy

- Exceptional communicator across functions at all levels of the company.
- Track record of launching operational processes and enabling scale
