Our Trust & Safety team is critically important to our overall business, providing policy development, implementation, and enforcement through internal and external resources to create a safer experience on our platform for our users.

We’re looking for a Manager to build the future of learning/training for Pinterest’s Trust and Safety organization. This role requires deep subject matter expertise to create and scale training in support of our Trust and Safety Policy, Quality, and Enforcement teams. You should have experience delivering global learning solutions at scale, working with senior leaders, and measuring the impact of training initiatives.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Build and lead a high performing team of Trust and Safety training professionals, managing their capacity and throughput to ensure training commitments are met.
  • Partner with Trust and Safety Enforcement subject matter experts (SMEs) and our Quality Assurance team to design, develop, deliver, and maintain/manage training curricula that are relevant for our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) vendors and Pinterest employees supporting Trust and Safety. 
  • Design and develop a comprehensive training strategy that is scalable, effective and efficient. 
  • Leverage best in class standards to devise KPIs to measure training outcomes for both BPO vendors and Pinterest employees supporting Trust and Safety, proactively reporting on metrics.  
  • Ensure a data driven approach when evaluating learning needs now and in the future for the Trust and Safety team, working with the right partners to deliver relevant training solutions. 
  • Build and deliver innovative training that is easily digestible for adult learners and applied across virtual, video and e-learning modalities. 
  • Manage our learning technologies on an ongoing basis, assessing and recommending technologies to be leveraged for successful training delivery. 
  • Drive governance around training documentation, ensuring updates are made in accordance with policy or enforcement changes.
  • Develop and deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for new employees in Trust and Safety.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in developing and delivering adult learning programming and training.
  • 3+ years of people management experience - with a track record of developing talent and supporting career growth.
  • Proven experience building scalable, global learning offerings for various internal and external audiences (employees, managers, senior leaders, teams, vendors).
  • Experience designing and delivering on a learning strategy that aligns with broader business priorities.
  • Influential at all levels, with strong stakeholder management and experience partnering with different parts of Business teams.
  • End-to-end program management skills from needs assessment, design, development, and facilitation.
  • Experience building content moderation training at scale for a global organization is preferred. 
  • Comfortable viewing, discussing, and training on controversial, graphic, or sensitive content.
