What you’ll do:
- This is a manager role that reports directly into the Senior Manager, Measurement - US Retail Sector Lead
- Lead and develop a team of 6 in-market measurement practitioners supporting advertisers across a diverse set of Retail categories and media objectives
- Own the measurement strategy, operations, goals, and learning plan development for the Mass Merchant & Grocery and Home Retail verticals
- Drive and provide hands on support for team across first/third party measurement solutions, meta analyses, custom analytics/research, and development of playbooks
- For priority advertisers, hands on consultative support rooted in showcasing and driving optimal Pinterest performance as a juxtaposition to the rest of their system of marketing/media performance signals
- Build measurement fluency and competency across immediate team, Sales, and other cross-functional partners
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Product Marketing to evaluate, position, and improve Pinterest’s measurement and ad products
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field - economics, math, engineering/computer science, operations research or similar OR equivalent years of experience in those areas
- 10+ years of analytics and measurement experience within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company
- 4+ years of technical/analytical team leadership and people development experience
- Deep experience with the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem, including the impact of digital privacy laws and regulations
- Deep experience with measurement concepts, solutions, and underlying statistical fundamentals leveraged in the ads measurement ecosystem
- Deep experience in influencing client or partner relationships in Retail (or Performance-heavy verticals) across Brand and Performance marketing initiatives, with emphasis on Performance
- Access, analyze, interpret, and communicate ads performance insights leveraging a wide range of standard data science tooling (e.g. SQL, Python)
- Structure, conduct and/or lead analyses to address strategic business problems
- Communicate complex measurement concepts to senior audiences with a wide range of measurement sophistication

In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 3-4x/quarter and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: Chicago or New York.
