As a CAPAC Regional Insights Lead on the Insights Solutions team, you’ll manage a team of talented Insights Partners to sell the unique value of Pinterest through insights, and drive advertiser value across multiple markets. You will be working closely with Sales teams to address business challenges through the power of insights. In partnership with other Insights leads, you’ll influence and build the strategic pillars of the sub-functional team. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and coach a team of 3 insights specialists across Canada, Australia, and Japan in delivering actionable insights for local Sales teams, and responsible for team output
  • Most times, be the only insights SME in the room, and can guide and influence others to adapt a different point of view
  • Builds effective working relationships with stakeholders; understands, sets, and meets stakeholder expectations (primary stakeholders: Sales)
  • Adapt functional plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges 
  • Independently translate data into compelling and actionable narratives with excellence, while factoring in stakeholder input/needs
  • Design, execute, and build insights programs aligned with functional pillars and objectives
  • Accountable for the performance and results of their team, while ensuring and maintaining a high quality of content 
  • Proactively identifies critical insights strategic needs for the region and helps influence bigger functional initiatives/ strategies/ decisions

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years of experience in insights, market research, or sales enablement/ program management
  • 2+ years digital ads experience; an influential insights expert with extensive experience working directly with Sales as a stakeholder
  • 2+ years of experience managing individual contributors (2+ people)
  • Curious and empathic leader who can apply understanding of business needs and insights expertise to multiple stakeholders and achieve team objectives within team resources 
  • An independent problem solver, and solutions-focused 
  • Ability to lead, manage, and set clear expectations across multiple stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Legal, etc.)
  • Strong ability to tell compelling, engaging, and actionable insights stories from complex data points
  • An expert in research methodologies and syndicated audience data
  • The ability to own global programs (which includes project management, stakeholder management, and delegating)
  • Experience leading projects from start to finish within expected timelines and budget: aligning on objectives, designing plan, executing, analyzing data to carve out insights, developing and presenting a story that meets business objective 
  • Comfortable speaking to and have an understanding of big data
