As the Manager II, Technical Program Management, you will lead a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Product Specialists and a vendor engineering team. Your responsibilities will include supporting PinTech teams, encompassing Partner Engineering, Support Engineering, and API Product. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to develop API strategies and coordinate with Business Development, Sales, and Engineering leadership to understand client demands and facilitate new API integrations.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of TPMs and vendor engineers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional (XFN) stakeholders to identify and prioritize the needs of tiered advertisers and Martech/Business Partners.
  • Project Management: Identify and lead key projects to facilitate advertiser API adoption and streamline the overall API integration process. Drives large vague, complex and strategic programs cross-functionally and cross-level (where the program is company strategic, delivers on a company OKR, complex, vague and/or spans multiple organizations)
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize API adoption, onboarding, and product offerings, and relay insights to the relevant product and engineering teams.
  • Metrics Monitoring: Establish and monitor key metrics to measure the success of API adoption, onboarding, and product usage.API Product Roadmap: Influence the API product roadmap by sharing insights and feedback from priority clients.
  • Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with product leadership to set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for API adoption success, ensuring future solutions are positioned effectively and successfully in the market.
  • Communication: Strong client-facing skills who can actively participate in client meetings alongside the Business Development and Sales teams as needed. It is essential for candidates to be highly customer-focused in this role. Communicate effectively (clear, concise, appropriate level of detail) to all levels of leadership.
  • Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders, facilitating open and effective dialogue, and working jointly towards the successful execution of program objectives and goals. 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 10+ years of Technical Program Management (TPM) or solutions/partner engineering experience.
  • Technical Integration: Experience integrating APIs at scale using SDKs or writing custom client code.Leadership: Proven experience in managing people in varying roles within one team.Strategic Vision:
  • Forward-thinking in terms of team and API program strategy; ability to manage ambiguity, devise future planning, and collaborate with XFN partners to expand the current scope continuously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and write complex scripts for data manipulation or API integrations using shell scripting or programming languages such as Python.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with experience delivering strategic presentations and narratives, both internally and externally.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
