About the role

We are looking for a Manager of Production Management to ensure the efficient flow of content from providers to delivery, meeting timelines and quality standards. Reporting to our Director of Content Operations, you will coordinate materials for multiple distribution channels, monitor asset progress, and maintain relationships with licensors, especially in Japan. You will collaborate with our brand management, programming, and acquisitions teams, direct tasks to team members, and ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.

  • You will ensure content moves efficiently from providers to delivery
  • You will notify partners of any issues
  • You will collaborate on deals and agreements
  • You will partner with the multiple teams to set expectations regarding schedules and launch dates.
  • You will maintain effective communication channels
  • You will communicate changes in delivered materials
  • You will provide regular production status updates
  • You will conduct research using storage tools and media asset management systems
  • You will evaluate and improve production processes

We are considering applicants for our Culver City office.

About You

We get excited about candidates, like you, because...

  • 5+ years of experience in content, research (video/audio/subtitle/metadata), and client service in the streaming entertainment industry, film/TV production, or similar fields
  • You have managed teams
  • You understand digital distribution supply chains
  • You know video/film formats, distribution workflows, and technologies
  • You have great organizational, people, and communication skills (speaking, writing, presenting)
  • You handle multiple tasks at once, demonstrating organization, punctuality, and excel at adapting to changing expectations
  • You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, can quickly assess and prioritize issues, and excel in environments where you can anticipate and solve problems
  • You contribute to long-term vision and strategy
  • You are familiar with anime, manga, Japanese pop culture or current entertainment

As part of our Content Operations team, you'll join a new, innovative group working with teams like acquisitions, brand management, content distribution, programming, localization, and support. Together, we'll make a big impact on Crunchyroll's digital supply chain. Our goal is to improve content delivery, ensuring the smooth integration of content, metadata, and subtitles across platforms. The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
