The base pay for this position is $121,000 - $137,500 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units will be provided as part of the compensation package.

Manager, Pricing Strategy & Analytics
About the RoleWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager for our Pricing team covering Wayfair’s Canadian business. In this role, you’ll own strategies that balance customer value, supplier growth, and long-term margins. You’ll use advanced analytics and financial modeling to drive key decisions and present recommendations to senior leadership. Based in our Boston office, you will work on a four-member team (with 1-2 analyst direct reports) and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Pricing and Profit Margin Optimization: Develop and implement pricing strategies to achieve optimal margins for the Canadian market. Utilize levers such as promotional pricing and investment strategies to balance customer acquisition and profitability.
- Business Performance Monitoring and Problem Solving: Tackle ambiguous challenges to generate solutions that impact profitability, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Strategic Planning and Forecasting: Partner with Finance to lead profitability planning and forecasting efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Contribute to scenario modeling to guide strategic decision making.
- Data Analysis: Work with large datasets using advanced analytical tools (SQL, GBQ, R, Python) to analyze data, identify trends and business insights, and develop reports to drive decisions across Commercial functions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration: Be a voice of the Canadian business, working closely with Finance, Marketing, Supplier Partnerships and Operations teams to align on broader business goals, prioritize opportunities, and drive action. Partner with engineering and analytics teams to enhance pricing tools and systems.
- Team Leadership: Formally and informally lead analysts on the team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing or a related analytical field.
- Extensive experience in SQL/GBQ and Excel with a desire to roll-up sleeves alongside highly technical analysts to guide, review, and improve code.
- Commercial mindset with ability to balance customer, supplier, and profitability goals
- Experience turning complex data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated success in formally or informally leading and mentoring other analysts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working across diverse teams and levels of an organization.
- Familiarity with e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods is a plus.
This is a hybrid position located in our Boston HQ. M - Th are in office and Friday's are remote.
