Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Manager, Program Management III to join our fast-paced and dynamic Supply Chain Inventory team in Bellevue, WA or Plantation, FL. This role will oversee our Vendor Compliance and Chargebacks Programs, leading high-impact initiatives focused on optimizing end-to-end inventory processes and vendor performance. You will direct a team responsible for driving innovation and operational excellence, collaborating with key cross-functional partners to build long-term sustainable processes that enhance Chewy's supply chain efficiency.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a deep understanding of supply chain processes, strong business insight, and a consistent track record in data-driven process improvements. This individual will excel at leading cross-functional teams, driving operational performance, and delivering results in an ambiguous and resource-constrained environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a team of 3-6 direct reports, guiding their development and ensuring their success in delivering key supply chain programs!
  • Own and run the comprehensive vendor performance strategy, driving optimization across Chewy's fulfillment network to enhance customer experience and minimize operational costs.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply planning, transportation, and merchant teams to build and scale extraordinary vendor management solutions.
  • Lead and improve vendor performance and  efficiencies, including on time vendor dispute/ticket resolution and critical issue handling.
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in supply chain processes and work cross-functionally to design and implement solutions that align with business goals.
  • Drive the development of data-driven tools and automated processes that improve decision-making and the scalability of inventory placement strategies.
  • Own the charge on continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining processes, integrating new technologies, and ensuring operational excellence across teams.
  • Provide thought leadership through data analysis, performance metrics, and operational key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field with an emphasis on analytics and quantitative methods.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, program management, or process improvement, preferably in an e-commerce or retail setting!
  • Strong leadership skills with at least 2 years of experience leading teams and delivering high-quality results in an ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, with a consistent track record of implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel. Experience with Tableau, Python, or other analytical tools is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence partners at all levels and translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience developing and delivering scalable solutions using Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Bonus:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Analytics, or a related subject area.
  • Experience with Fulfillment Center operations, retail assortment planning, or e-commerce supply chain.
  • Previous experience with process automation, machine learning, or predictive analytics.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Project Management.

Compensation & Benefits: 

Our salary range for a Manager, Program Management III position is $129,500.00 - $207,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
