THE WORK:

Our tech company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager Site Reliability Engineering to lead our team of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) across the globe. The Manger SRE will be responsible for managing our SaaS products and ensuring our SLAs and quality metrics are met while implementing continuous delivery best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead and manage a team of SREs across the globe.
  • Manage and ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of our SaaS products.
  • Implement and maintain our operations excellence, ensuring that quality metrics are met consistently.
  • Develop and implement continuous delivery best practices, working closely with the development team to ensure that they are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with other teams across the company, including development, operations, and customer support, to ensure that our products meet our customers' needs.
  • Manage and develop the skills of the SRE team, ensuring that they are well-equipped to handle their responsibilities.
  • Collect and report team metrics.
  • Be hands-on 70 percent of the time, 30 on project/team management

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing SRE teams in a cloud environment.
  • Experience managing SaaS products and ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Experience implementing continuous delivery best practices.
  • Developer experience is appreciated
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
