For this role within our Global Partner Support organization, you will be part of the “Get Started and Grow” team that closely partners with Tech, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve supplier onboarding experience and unlock business growth for new Suppliers. Your core focus will be to drive improvements in product, process, and analytics with those teams and other stakeholders that will lead to improved customer experience, enhanced supplier support, and potentially deliver positive financial impact. We are looking for highly motivated and detailed-oriented individuals with a global mindset to help expand this space within the global supply chain industry.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate cross functionally on a global scale with product, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to deliver initiatives to build the foundation for analytical framework as well as provide near term analysis to improve business impact, and experience for customers and suppliers
  • Perform deep-dive analysis on business impact, supplier/customer experience KPIs by leveraging analytics to identify root causes behind performance issues and provide insights around major pain points or other factors 
  • Communicate findings with a succinct point of view and utilize compelling visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Data Studio, Tableau, etc.) for both executive level as well as cross-functional team level stakeholder management; ensuring that the insights can be used to help drive the strategies to deliver business impact
  • Use quantitative and qualitative skill sets to work with large and complex datasets, analyze ambiguous questions and develop recommendations to guide business decisions with senior leadership
  • Partner with business and engineering stakeholders at various levels to identify key factors and requirements for each initiative, secure the necessary buy-in from leadership for project methodology, and build a 6-12 month roadmap with clear goals and milestones
  • Drive decision-making process at all levels (strategic, operational, tactical) through impact sizing, cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and other informed decision making methodologies
  • Work closely with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to build data warehouses / data layers and visualizations for both process health monitoring and executive level KPI reporting

What You'll Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Operations, or Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, retail, engineering, consulting, strategy or finance
  • Experience working in a program/project management setting is preferred; project or program management certification not required but is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill with a focus on stakeholder management experience is desired
  • Solid technical understanding of how tech stack (various architectures/frameworks, databases, cloud / data infrastructure, microservices, code repositories, prod/dev environments, etc.) work in enterprise and commercial software
  • Self-starter with a high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Advanced experience with Google or Microsoft Office tools is required
  • Strong Proficiency with SQL (GBQ), or other database management of equal complexity is recommended, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

  • All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
