Joining Collibra’s Test Engineering team: 
  • Lead Test Engineers & SDETs, providing guidance and mentorship through your deep understanding of testing concepts, including testing at different layers and context-driven testing.
  • You will plan, develop and execute testing strategies across Scrum Teams for Collibra products.
  • You will continuously monitor and calibrate all testing activities, test results, and actively lead active root cause analysis, to identify areas of improvement and drive required improvements.
  • Drive the adoption of value added automation that delivers value to our testing processes and improve efficiency.
Manager’s, Test Engineering at Collibra are responsible for:
  • Coaching and mentoring team members, peer groups and cross-functional leaders to keep up with software release cycles and company growth.
  • Evaluation and reporting on testing and quality risk for product releases.
  • Providing recommendations regarding issues, processes, and quality assurance procedures and proactively seek opportunities to simplify and automate existing processes, as necessary.
  • Collaboration with Director, Test Engineering in order to drive Quality initiatives and promote Quality awareness and mindset.
  • People Management of Test Engineering group: providing them with opportunities for professional growth and development.
You have:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the software quality assurance and/or engineering industry, with 4 years of direct management experience of testing or engineering teams.
  • Experience managing people in globally distributed organization.
  • Understanding of automated testing tools, software development and testing methodologies.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
You are:
  • Knowledgeable in variety of software test methodologies and capable to innovate upon them to drive continuous improvements.
  • Familiar with Context-Driven testing practices and methods, preferably on applications built using the SaaS model of development.
  • Able to work on a diverse team, build networks, promote collaboration and lead by example.
  • Able to think independently with keen attention to details.
  • Well organized and accustomed to fast paced environment.
Measures of success:
  • Within your first month, you will have onboarded with our products and practices and start getting insights into test strategy, team’s pain points leading your team’s testing practices.
  • Within your third month, you will have a good understanding of the team, their challenges and priorities.
  • Within your sixth month, you will have a good understanding of the products and start contributing to driving & implementing test practices per the strategic direction.
Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - $193,000.00 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
