Our Vision and Mission

We already know where we want to be in 3 years and the impact we want to have in 10 years: With the vision of creating a world where our technology makes operating and marketing experiences easy and fun, our mission is to make bookingkit the most integrated booking technology for professional European attractions.

 

So we are looking for you as a Manual Tester (m/f/d) to work with us on a 3-month parental leave cover (temporary contract with the possibility to extend) starting April 1st, 2024. Fully remote work within Europe possible!

 

Your Day-to-Day Work In This Role

  • You work as a member of a Scrum team together with your colleagues to develop, test and launch scalable, production-ready software.
  • You design and maintain test cases and test case scenarios.
  • You execute a wide scope of manual tests and report issues.
  • You take the responsibility for the quality in software development processes.
  • You collaborate with DevOps & software engineers, as well as product managers during product exploration to give context on feasibility.
  • You share your knowledge and experience with other engineers.

 

We Are Match If:

  • You have professional experience as a QA, especially in web app testing.
  • You know the basics of web applications (HTTP, HTML, authentication, sessions, cookies).
  • You have general knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • You know how to use code repositories (git).
  • You know the basics of Linux.
  • You are fluent in English and have good communication skills.
  • You are familiar with and following Agile principles.
  • You like to work in a team.

 

Extra Awesome If:

  • You have experience in testing automation (Cypress, Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript).
  • You have knowledge in RESTful APIs and experience in API testing (Postman).
  • You have experience in testing mobile applications.
  • You know CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins).
  • You have knowledge in databases, SQL.
  • You know how to use Docker.
  • You have first touch points in AWS.
