Mintel is seeking a motivated and curious Market Research Analyst to join our Consumer Financial Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, develop analytical skills, and become a confident communicator within a dynamic research environment.

About the Role

As an Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that help our clients understand emerging trends and opportunities in the financial services sector. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Research & Insights team, contributing to the creation of evidence-based content that informs strategic business decisions for leading industry clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing structured insights by combining your growing knowledge with multiple data sources and tools.
  • Analysing quantitative data and crafting clear, concise narratives that tell the story behind the numbers.
  • Producing written content for reports and presentations, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Mintel to deliver high-quality research and insight.
  • Following established frameworks and workflows to ensure consistency and quality in all outputs.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in consumer financial services and market trends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to share ideas and insights.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data to create compelling stories.
  • Willingness to learn and develop expertise in new subject areas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage your time effectively.
  • Comfortable working within defined frameworks and following established processes.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, but we welcome applications from all backgrounds.

Please note the salary for this position is £31,000 and will require you to be in our St Paul's London office, 2 days a week.
