The role 

Deliveroo is hiring a Marketing and Merchandising Operations Associate to join the Hop team based in our HQ London office. Reporting to the Head of Vendor Management and Senior Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to help support the HOP business; driving our local activations in the UK and globally, managing campaign set up & marketing execution, whilst also cultivating strong relationships with our site operations team to ensure exceptional customer experience.

 

What you’ll be doing

The Marketing and Merchandising Operations Associate will be responsible for:

  • Lead our site launch marketing plan, building out a robust site launch toolkit that is used across markets, and tailored to each partner to ensure we meet opening targets

  • Working closely with the Program Management team to support Hop launches

  • Building playbooks to ensure local Hop marketing teams leverage best practices 

  • Working with the Vendor Management and marketing teams on monetising HOP Marketing assets. 

  • Manage some key marketing supplier relationships, liaising with purchasing and owning marketing stock management, whilst spotting cost efficiencies 

  • Cultivate and own a strong relationship with site operations, leading engaging Marketing comms to drive consistent brand and marketing execution with every order

  • Develop the marketing operations through the promotion of best practices, marketing frameworks, processes and embedding effective use of marketing technology, data and insights

  • Building playbooks to ensure marketing teams leverage best practices from around the world 

  • Assist on HOP CRM set-up 

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a creative and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • 2+ years in marketing and/or commercial roles 

  • Experience interacting with suppliers to high standards

  • Skilled at planning, organising, prioritising and executing simultaneous projects and activities at once

  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders and are confident in presenting ideas.

  • Experience managing a budget preferred

  • Proven experience in international stakeholder interaction

  • Problem solver with a can-do attitude, happy to work autonomously

  • Self-starter attitude that's comfortable with constant change and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll thrive in a new environment where you have the opportunity to shape your role within a new team
