Marketing Automation Manager
As a Marketing Automation Manager working on the Dash Growth team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our Email strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, technical skills, and creativity to deliver successful programs at scale. With a focus on cross-sell and engagement, you will develop the foundations for our Email Marketing efforts and have a direct impact on our Growth objectives.
Responsibilities- Email Strategy Development: Partner with the Growth teams to create the strategy for email with a focus on cross-sell and engagement of users from within our existing Dropbox customer base.
- Email Design and Delivery: Lead the execution of building high-performing emails by partnering with agencies and using internal marketing automation systems.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Develop a pipeline of experiments to implement a rigorous testing framework that allows us to rapidly learn and operationalize wins.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Customer Insights and Segmentation: Utilize deep customer insights to segment the audience effectively and tailor marketing campaigns that resonate with each segment.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Work closely with Product and Channel owners to create a learning feedback loop and ensure that strategies are aligned.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or a related field
- 6–10 years of experience in marketing automation with a proven track record of successfully implementing email programs that drive growth
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL to effectively measure results and inform marketing strategies and decisions
- Experienced at running A/B tests to rapidly experiment, operationalize, and optimize
- Deep understanding of industry standards and best practices for email marketing
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to partner with key stakeholders in achieving collaborative goals
- Innovative mindset, with an eye for identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities in a dynamic market landscape
- Experience using Marketing Automation and Experimentation tools such as Iterable and GrowthBook
- Experience working in Tech/SaaS companies
Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):• US Zone 1: $178,900 - $210,500 - $242,100.• US Zone 2: $161,100 - $189,500 - $217,900.• US Zone 3: $143,100 - $168,400 - $193,700. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
