Marketing Copywriter - Viator
Viator is searching for a talented midweight copywriter to join its global content team. The copywriter, who will work closely with the London-based B2C CRM team, will be responsible for turning a creative brief into original copy that grabs the attention of the audience and platform, making the customer journey as user-friendly, and delightful, as possible. The ideal candidate combines the creative thinking of an agency copywriter with the results-oriented mindset of a UX writer.
Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the Viator tone and voice.

Write effective, concise, on-brand copy for traveler-facing CRM programming.

Contribute to acquisition marketing collateral as needed.

Collaborate with other copywriters to ensure consistency across platforms and products.

Offer copywriting support for promotions and campaigns under the guidance of the senior copywriter and brand/marketing managers.

Work cross-functionally to understand and meet general content strategy, design considerations, and business objectives.

Prioritize work effectively based on project deadlines and release dates.

Ensure accuracy and consistency of marketing materials produced.

Conduct internal audits and competitive analyses to identify opportunities.

Help shape and maintain Viator’s tone and voice.

Provide copy and support for other projects as needed.
Job requirements

Strong portfolio showing a variety of marketing executions with a focus on digital media, including email and push marketing.

3+ years of relevant copywriting experience at an ad agency or in-house creative team.

Excellent communication skills with an ability to work both cross-functionally and independently.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and pivot between a variety of projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.

Good understanding of the relationship between copy and design.

Strong familiarity with AP Style and writing in American English.

A high degree of accuracy and an eye for detail.

Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Experience working with Jira, Asana, and Figma is a plus.

Experience with lifecycle communications desired but not essential.

Travel marketing experience desired but not required.
