As the Marketing Manager - PR, Social & Consumer, you will be responsible for overseeing the public relations and strategizing social engagement efforts to increase the presence of the Trustpilot brand in Italy. You will also deliver the marketing strategy to increase consumer usage of Trustpilot. In this role, you will work closely with the country leadership team to understand and amplify our narrative through key media and digital channels, events, awards and more. You’ll be a core member of the team that is tasked with creating innovative, compelling, data-driven stories, told beautifully and demonstrate the value of Trust.

The position involves leveraging strategic insight and innovative approaches to enhance Trustpilot's reputation and presence in Italy, captivating potential users to incorporate Trustpilot into their purchasing process. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop PR and social engagement strategy for Italy, using a local agency and with global support
  • Manage/develop press releases, messaging points, and coordinate the creation of assets for media and social channels
  • Develop, cultivate and sustain relationships with journalists in key media outlets  
  • Leverage internal and sourced data to develop compelling external narratives that support Trustpilot’s value proposition 
  • Create and execute speaking, podcast and media engagement
  • Develop a cohesive strategy to work alongside product experience initiatives to drive more consumers use Trustpilot as part of their buying journey
  • Analyze competitive, customer and industry/category trends to bring fresh, creative thinking to Trustpilots’ external narrative
  • Project management and operational support of all Italian external comms workstreams and collaborate with global teams on integrated programs

 

Who you are:

  • 3+ years experience in a marketing communications, social or PR function
  • Experience working with/managing agency partners, influencers and press directly, consumer marketing experience
  • Degree or equivalent in Business, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
  • Effective communicative abilities coupled with leadership techniques that facilitate inspiration and engagement in group settings (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated project management competency, ensuring effective coordination of concurrent tasks and deadlines
  • Hands-on knowledge of  key social media management, PR, and analytics tools 
  • Native proficiency in Italian and fluent in English
