Marketing Manager (they / she / he)
The Growth Marketing Manager leads growth and engagement initiatives for Glovo's most important products. The team is data-driven and results-focused. The person will have a strong technical, analytical, and product background – with a hunger to make products grow.
Role performance will be evaluated based on New Customer and Recurrent Customer KPIs. You may also be involved in other tasks requested by your manager due to business needs.
Be a part of a team where you will:Definition and implementation of Growth strategies:
- Define Glovo local Marketing strategy, adapting global playbook to local needs.
- Lead local Marketing activation (offline and online) and manage/optimize Content to deliver on the agreed growth goals.
- Define promotional, pricing and point of sale strategy.
Business Development and Brand Partnerships:
- Understand local media landscape and define the right mix of digital/non-digital investment to maximize user base growth within the agreed CAC (Cost of Acquisition) targets. Own the Marketing budget and use it efficiently and wisely.
- Identify and execute local partnerships to build brand awareness in the city
- Track the Market dynamics and competitor activities.
P&L ownership and metric monitoring:
- Own P&L for Marketing activities in the market.
- Manage the country marketing budget.
- Track and monitor key Growth and Content metrics providing the appropriate visibility to HQ, the General Manager and the Regional Marketing Director.
Product Leadership Responsibilities:
- Lead the ideation and execution of product changes that drive growth, partnering with Partner Operations, Operations, Finance, Content and Sales.
- Establish shared vision across the company for growth product optimizations by building consensus on priorities leading to major product improvements.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the activities carried out.
- Communicate details, updates and implementations across all stakeholders and teams with extreme attention to detail.
- Communicates and simplifies concepts to the audience's needs.
Analytical Responsibilities:
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with both our consumer and business products, identify growth opportunities, and execute on projects to drive growth and engagement.
Brand Building/Story Telling:
- Continuous development of the business’s unique and compelling voice, which also aids in building awareness, uniqueness, relevance, esteem, and reputation, among target consumers.
- Ensures that the brand’s story is communicated creatively and dramatically in order to attract as much attention as possible.
- Leads the creation of inspiring designs, content, and campaigns that will build the business’s brand, eventually driving acquisition and revenue.
- Ensure that the brand’s standards are maintained across all channels.
Relationships:
- Establishing meaningful business relationships on behalf of the business (Top partners, Media agency, Social Media agency, PR agency, etc).
- Establishes strong relationships with market stakeholders as well as media outlets.
- Work together with Pricing, CRM, Performance Marketing, Brand & Comms teams in HQ to get the local message through.
Stakeholder Communications:
- Executes innovative stakeholder communication strategies in order to inform the relevant parties about activities and accomplishments of the department and its programs.
- Designs stakeholder communication plans that motivate further cohesion within the business.
- Compiling and presenting reports on marketing program/campaign performance and the results conceived through their collaboration with the analytics department and reports of further analyses conducted by various marketing teams.

- Minimum un graduate level in Business. Master level is a plus
- Min 3-4 years of experience in a leading FMCG company or in the E-commerce sector performing in a role of similar or larger responsibilities.
- Proven track record of delivering business growth, experienced defining investment strategy and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and non-digital channels

- Effective English written and communication skills
- Highly analytical and comfortable dealing with high growth and complex business challenges
- Strong consumer understanding skills
- Have a deep understanding of paid, owned and earned media channels, being comfortable tracking and reporting on established performance marketing KPIs
