Marketing Science Lead, Performance
As a Marketing Science Lead your curiosity never ends. The next question is always on your mind, helping you demonstrate the value of marketing science to stakeholders. You have in-depth experience working with digital analytics and marketing technology platforms, know how to use them to build personalized customer experiences, enjoy collaborating with others, and excel at leading and training juniors to translate findings into clear, actionable and executable insights.
You’re an expert at architecting and implementing analytics solutions to enable the measurement of connected experiences. You have a strong comprehension of technical integrations and data structures used to support digital properties and advertising vendors – and stay on top of industry changes to keep your knowledge sharp.
Gaining leadership experience by managing and developing the skills of a passionate team of Analytics is something you’re looking for. And you’re ready to expose your team to all sub-disciplines—because you believe it’s crucial to cultivate their expertise for both team development and client needs.
You will:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to expand analytics capabilities and deliver relevant, personalized experiences for customers across all channels.
- Shape analytics deliverables and provide point of view on methodology and technology.
- Think strategically about how data, media performance, and content can be used to deliver smarter experiences and stronger business outcomes.
- Design and lead the implementation of data collection tools to enable cross-channel measurement, and improve single view of customer data.
- Possess very strong interpersonal and team-building skills, with the ability to foster a cohesive and effective work environment.
- Work closely with the global Marketing Science organization as well as Media, Strategy, Creative, and Client Service Teams to apply best practices across Critical Mass.
- Manage, develop and motivate analysts: participate in resourcing, hiring and training planning.
You have:
- Experience with two or more of the below:
- Web Analytics Tools – Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.
- Tag Management Systems – Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium, etc.
- Data Visualization – Tableau, Datorama, Google Looker Studio, etc.
- A/B Testing & Personalization – Media Tools, Adobe Target, Monetate (Kibo), etc.
- Data Engineering – Rivery, PowerBI, SQL, or other ETL tools.
- Statistical Programming – Python, R
- Expert knowledge implementing analytics tracking and architecting solutions for website, app, media, or cross-channel measurement.
- Strong understanding of technical integrations and data structures used to support digital analytics tools. Things like URL Parameters, Cookies, Pixels, Tags, etc.
- Familiarity with the major digital marketing channels and basic understanding of paid media tools such as Google Ads, Google Campaign Manager 360, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, X Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
- Strong knowledge of current issues and trends within the online marketing industry with an emphasis on emerging web and marketing technology (MarTech) platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to a variety of audiences, including creative, tech, media, project management, account, and client teams.
- An understanding that each project and problem requires a fresh approach.
