The Difference You Will Make:

We are looking for a Measurement Lead to lead efforts in  shaping how we measure the impact of our efforts across the global Communications team. The Measurement Lead will help us understand our overall impact while also feeding insights into our strategic planning efforts. A Typical Day: 

  • Lead the Charge in Measurement Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive global measurement strategy that elevates our communications efforts by identifying key insights that will feed our leadership team’s planning strategy.
  • Track Our Success: Monitor team OKRs and key strategy metrics at both global and country levels, ensuring consistency and accuracy across campaigns and geographies.
  • Translate Results to Impact: Enhance our measurement capabilities to clearly demonstrate how our communications efforts drive business outcomes.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Help grow relationships across the company with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Advanced Analytics, Consumer Insights, Research and Finance. 
  • Empower the Team: Develop processes to streamline measurement tasks for comms managers, conduct regular training sessions, and provide ongoing support through consultations.
  • Deliver Insights: Produce in-depth recurring reports (quarterly and annual), monitor proactive message pull-through, and write  insights for our consumer, editorial, corporate, and trust and safety communications teams. Present your findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Manage relationships with our measurement vendors to maximize the benefits of their platforms and ensure seamless adoption among the team.
  • Innovate Measurement Tools: Improve our measurement capabilities by managing the integration of data sources (APIs, raw data etc) to help create bespoke data tables and design insightful dashboards in collaboration with technical partners.

Your Expertise:

  • Experience That Matters: Minimum of 10+ years in communications with a strong focus on media monitoring, press measurement, social media and primary research.
  • Autonomous and Agile: Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Insightful Communicator: Share insights and strategic viewpoints effectively with leadership.
  • Presentation Pro: Strong skills in presentation-building, storytelling, and data visualization.
  • Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented, capable of drawing conclusions from complex datasets, and producing easily digestible insights for diverse audiences.
  • System Designer: Experience in designing systems that enhance team coordination and efficiency.
  • Tool expertise: Proficient in Media Monitoring tools (Onclusive, Cision, Newswhip) and Social Media tools (Brandwatch, Sprinklr). Strong skills in writing complex Boolean searches.
  • Data Skills: Proficiency in SQL/Python or the ability to integrate data from multiple sources reliably is a big plus.

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  

Pay Range$160,000—$200,000 USD
