Merchandising Analyst - Platform Enablement
Location: Berlin DE (based in Berlin - 4 office days)
We are looking for an analytical, action-oriented, and collaborative individual that can translate business problems to actionable insights and data driven solutions to influence customer & supplier experience. Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis while also being eager to communicate upward and outward to tell a concise story.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough analyses with Google Bigquery and build efficient reporting in Data Studio and Google Sheets to translate data sets into driving insights and action
- Develop sustainable, long-term performance management practices to assess and grow the business
- Monitor key performance indicators and translate movements into recommendations for progress against business objectives
- Manage processes and engagement with key cross-functional partners
- Partner with Product teams to design and implement agile development roadmaps to improve our customer and agent facing tools
- Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams in including Merchandising, Commercial and Technology
- Be an effective contributor in a team that manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- Professional experience in writing complex database queries (ideally Google Bigquery), and using data visualization tools such as Gsheets/Excel, Data Studio, Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
- Knowledge in writing code in structured programming languages (Python, R) is a big plus
- Excellent communication, both written and verbally
- Fluency in English is essential; German fluency is considered as a plus
- Team-first attitude with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset; you must be adaptable and comfortable with change
