Please note that we are an in-office company, which means the expectation is that you would come in to your Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.

About the role

The Autolabeling Team at Applied Intuition builds the system that generates ground truth labels for the world around the self-driving car. You will have access to millions of miles of driving data from a diverse set of sensors to develop complex models and techniques at scale. Improvements deployed to our system can immediately help our customers with their autonomy programs.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Design and implement multi-sensor perception models to enable industry-leading scalable offboard system development
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with upstream and downstream teams to facilitate the end-to-end solutions for the corresponding product domains
  • Work closely with our infrastructure team to provide the best enterprise software for engineering, testing, and product teams at our customers

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Passion for turning their domain expertise into tooling that boosts the productivity of teams working on various real-world applications of autonomous systems
  • Three or more years of experience building software components or (sub) systems that address real-world perception challenges
  • Hands-on experience with more than one domain relevant software framework or tools, such as middleware, benchmarking suites, data sets and related pipelines, or algorithmic libraries
  • Deep understanding of the concepts and methods behind frameworks or libraries
  • Experience working with production level ML and DL algorithms

Nice to have:

  • MSc or PhD in perception or closely related field
  • Computer vision background with modern deep learning techniques
  • Deep hands-on expertise in relevant algorithms or methods, such as non-linear optimization, computational geometry, numerical analysis, distributed systems
  • Experience building and shipping software frameworks or tools that are used by others than the authors of the framework

The salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
