Everything we do here spins around Plan Zero. So, naturally, the team you’ll be joining plays a gigantic role in making that happen. Here’s how:

As OVO moves closer to 4m customers, our Data teams enable our strategy to provide a world leading, carbon net zero, and digitally enabled experience.  Data helps us develop diversified products and services to support carbon free living, both as real time data insight to propositions and as information, as we iterate and test our products and performance to strengthen the value of our relationship.

This role in a nutshell:

This role reports to the Data Product Lead and supports the vision to leverage data and insights to enable value driving data products, a cornerstone of OVO decision making and road to Plan Zero..

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Collaborate with multiple team members to capture key data and insight requirements and translate into actionable workstreams for data analysts, data scientists and engineers
  • Design value performance metrics and testing strategies to demonstrate how data products drive value and identify further opportunities to shape future requirements and products
  • Support the day-to-day management of data products, working with exceptionally dedicated data scientists and engineers to build and maintain critical decision making capability

  • Evolve and monitor the product roadmap celebrating delivery of key achievements, understanding impact of change and communicating effectively with the team and senior collaborators

  • Know what the art of the possible is, without necessarily knowing the technical details of how it’s achieved.
  • Demonstrable ability to assess opportunities and risks related to current and new products to support business plans.
  • Experience of productising and scaling data science to deliver commercialisation and innovation.
