Your mission

We are looking for an MLOps Engineer with a good software engineering background to focus on the MLOps Processes space as part of our newly founded Team. The team is currently shaping the state-of-the-art of the MLOps space by creating frameworks to address challenges from our partners to move their Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to production.

As part of your responsibilities, you will work on activities to develop some of the team pillars including:

  • Framework development: Post processing insights from working groups or interactions with our partners. Building knowledge databases and visualizations to address MLOps challenges and designing compelling ways to present them to our partners.

  • Consulting customers regarding challenges, best practices to bring AI models to production. Evaluate their MLOps maturity level and define strategies to reach their MLOps ambition.

  • Publications: Support the team on writing and reviewing articles that will allow to extend the impact of our team outside our network.

  • Projects: Supporting the team in the day-to-day tasks of any other MLOps related project.
The role is available as full-time

Your profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
  • Committed to learning new things and technologies

  • Affinity with software development: you write clean and maintainable Python code

  • Tool awareness for the different activities in the ML lifecycle

  • Good communication skills and a team player attitude

  • Technical writing skills

  • Good presentation and moderation skills

  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with tools for data versioning, experiment tracking, workflow orchestration, and/or model deployment and ML monitoring

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

  • Experience in regulated application domains (e.g., finance, healthcare, …) and translating legal requirements into technical specifications

  • German language skills
