As a QA Engineer (Mobile) at Betsson Group,  you will ensure the quality and functionality of our mobile applications through thorough manual testing.  You will collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and other QA team members to identify issues, document defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our mobile apps.

  A taster of what you will be involved with

• Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing of mobile applications on various devices and operating systems to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues. 
• Test Planning: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases that cover all aspects of the mobile applications. 
• Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Exploratory Testing: Creatively explore the applications to uncover hidden issues, edge cases, and potential usability improvements. 
• Defect Reporting: Clearly document and report defects using established processes, including detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and screenshots/videos as needed. 
• Issue Tracking: Utilize issue tracking systems to manage and monitor defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and verification. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and other QA team members to troubleshoot issues, clarify requirements, and ensure the successful resolution of defects. 
• Usability and Accessibility Testing: Evaluate the user experience and accessibility of the applications, providing feedback to improve overall quality and user satisfaction. 
• Test Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and testing guidelines. 
• Feedback and Improvement: Provide input on process improvements, testing methodologies, and quality enhancement strategies to enhance the overall QA process. 

Great if you have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on mobile applications. 
• Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective guidelines and best practices. 
• Proficiency in using manual testing techniques and tools. Familiarity with issue tracking and test management systems. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, agile development environment. 
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
