As a Motion Design Lead, you are responsible for defining, elevating, and executing the motion design vision across digital products, platforms, and campaigns. You lead motion design efforts end-to-end, partnering closely with Design Directors, Product Designers, and developers to bring interfaces, stories, and brands to life through thoughtful, high-quality motion.

What you’ll be doing. 

  • Concept, design, and lead the creation of original motion graphics, interface animations, micro-interactions, and visual effects across products, platforms, and campaigns.
  • Define and evolve motion systems, interaction patterns, and animation principles aligned with design systems and product guidelines.
  • Partner closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Product Designers, and Engineers to shape concepts, narratives, and execution plans.
  • Translate creative ideas into storyboards, motion explorations, prototypes, and production-ready assets.
  • Collaborate with video editors to deliver ads, short-form content, documentaries, and scripted storytelling.
  • Create clear motion specifications, interaction guidelines, and documentation to support scalable, production-ready implementation, including Lottie.
  • Lead and contribute to client presentations, articulating motion strategy, concepts, and design rationale with clarity and confidence.
  • Mentor and guide motion designers, fostering craft excellence, growth, and a strong motion design culture

What we’d like to see.

  • 8+ years of experience in motion design, ideally within a digital design or creative agency.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating compelling motion concepts, UI animation, storytelling, and campaign work.
  • Proven experience executing and leading motion design across digital products, platforms, and content.
  • Advanced proficiency in After Effects, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, and Lottie.
  • Strong understanding of UI animation, micro-interactions, and motion as part of user experiences.
  • Solid product design understanding, including UI principles, interaction rationale, and usability.
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems, including documenting motion behavior.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting to clients.
  • Fluency in AI-driven creative tools and emerging motion technologies.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level
