Role: Motion Graphics Editor

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Motion Graphics Editor will specialise in animation and film techniques. They can create bespoke graphics, illustrations and animations and bring them to life. 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • A passion for design and conception. 
  • Excellent motion design skill set 
  • Proficient in the use of After Effects and associated motion software  
  • Excellent Adobe CS skills with great knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator with the ability to produce bespoke digitally drawn assets from scratch. 
  • You'll have a deep affinity with layout, typography and idea-generation. 
  • Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion. 
  • Consistent record of taking on, interpreting and delivering design projects within agreed deadlines. 
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work under own initiative. 
  • Excellent experience working closely with clients during kick-off. 
  • Confident in bringing your own innovative ideas and creativity to projects 
  • Strong client liaison, with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships. 

Skills and capabilities

  • Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style; can solve challenges through visual design 
  • Has excellent skills with Adobe After Effects and Illustrator; Strong working knowledge of software tools, across Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Premiere etc. 
  • A strong understanding of design, typography, colour and composition 
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years vocational experience in computer animation, multimedia studies, graphic design, or a related field. 
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail. 
  • Good drawing skills and creativity. 
  • Excellent time management skills. 
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
