The Role:

As a Renewals Manager, you will be joining an exciting and emerging organization within the Value Engineering Strategy & Operations Team in the next chapter of our growth. You will be spearheading our critical mission to retain existing customers and existing revenue. You will help drive the overall global retention of our customers including creating programs, best practices, plays, and methodologies to drive world-class revenue retention rates.  You will serve as front line support to NAM Value Engineers and Value Engineer Managers, helping answer questions regarding specific renewals, and helping to hold the various customer facing teams accountable to drive renewal plans that achieve the company’s targeted renewal rates.  This role has much visibility and cross-functional alignment.  It is absolutely critical to the future success of Celonis as our recurring revenue and our ability to maintain that revenue is a key driver of our future value.

The work you’ll do:

- Working in tandem with the wider Value Engineering Strategy & Operations Team, you will develop Best-in-Class Retention Methodologies that can be applied globally

- Create and leverage critical programs  that help the organization achieve its retention goals and deploy resources into the right places at the right time.

- Work with the global field to streamline regional and vertical forecasts into one rollup forecast for the NAM Renewals Lead

- Help Celonis become much more predictable in understanding retention risk and forecasting churn by working to understand and eliminate “surprises” in the renewal forecast

- Help create escalation plans for accounts that need Executive action to help mitigate churn

- Support the Value Engineering Strategy & Operations Team with analysis and insights to contribute to the decision making and the ultimate success of Celonis

The qualifications you need:

- Understanding of Celonis’ Value Proposition and Value Realization Methodologies: You have advanced knowledge and experience following the Celonis value selling methodology alongside the customer journey: including discovery, qualification, value assessment and PoV’s, and demonstrate the full value potential of Celonis EMS

- Cross-Functional Team Skills: You understand how to work in a cross-functional environment at Celonis - specifically working with the AEs, VEs, DealDesk, and finance teams to deliver a comprehensive global renewals strategy.

- Commercial Skillset: You have knowledge and expertise in renewal commercial considerations regarding price increases, renewal terms and length, manual vs auto renewals, and creative contracting options to limit risk.

- Financial Acumen: You have a foundational understanding of the financial terms, methodologies, accounting, and business practices associated with a SaaS business model and how recurring revenue from renewals impacts the business.

- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in preparing and communicating results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.

- Analytical Skillset: You are able to identify trends and insights hidden within the data, and you feel comfortable creating with it a compelling story to present it to Senior Stakeholders

The base salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule. Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.The base salary range below is for the role in New York, based on a Full Time Schedule. $81,000—$135,000 USD
