Please note that we are an in-office company, which means the expectation is that you would come in to your Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.

About the role

As Office Manager, you will be responsible for supporting various activities in and around our office in Munich. This is an opportunity to help shape local operations, promote our company culture, plan and execute events, and remove logistical hurdles in a fast-growing company. You will also work closely with our application engineering and sales teams to support various customer projects.

You will also work closely with our international people and places team to manage special projects in timezone. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to have a high impact in the workplace. 

This role is based in our modern Munich office (Balanstraße) and will report directly to the Head of People and Places.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Step into the role of office manager in Munich (30+ employees) and oversee all office-related tasks (managing meal and snack programs, ordering office supplies, mail distribution, etc.)
  • Adapt our office space in Munich to the changing needs of the business to create an attractive and productive work environment 
  • Remotely support our growing EMEA team in Stockholm (5+ employees) with their office operations
  • Help to build and invest in the local culture of the company (e.g. by organizing internal events)
  • Plan and organize internal and external events, such as meetings and conference visits
  • Support new team members during their induction and help them to find their way around Applied
  • Support our company leadership during their travels to Europe by arranging travel itineraries and help with logistics
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for our international employees who rotate to our offices in Europe and assist them in their transition
  • Roll up your sleeves to get things done and cooperate with external suppliers and partners where necessary
  • Work with our teams in the U.S., as well as with our partners in Germany, to complete administrative tasks

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in at least one of the following: hospitality management, events management, real estate team, workplace team, executive assistant, and/or business operations management
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation combined with a “can do” attitude
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and has excellent multitasking abilities  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and German)
  • A love for building culture and enjoys injecting energy, creativity, and forward thinking to the workplace

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience from working in a high growth technology startup
  • Experience with the Google suite of tools (e.g., Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive)
  • Experience using Slack on a professional level
  • German driver's license and car
