About The Job:This role would involve managing our offline marketing channels which fall into two areas, Direct Sales (Lead Generation, Door-to-Door, Events) and Print (Direct Mail and Gift Card). It sits within our Growth team and allows the successful candidate the opportunity to work across data, creative and strategy to hit our ambitious growth targets. This role is focused on growth and is fundamentally about scaling and optimising the channels in different ways. For example the focus of Direct Sales is to scale growth at an efficient ROI through increasing headcount/activity whilst maintaining cost and improving other core metrics. And with print channels it is more centred around maintaining conversion levels but looking for efficiencies  through structured testing and cost-saving initiatives to drive new customer acquisition for HelloFresh and Green Chef brands. It will require someone who is commercially driven, has tireless ambition for innovation, analytics and profitability.

What You Will Be Doing:

Strategy and Management of Direct Sales and Print channels

  • Manage the strategy, media planning and data analysis for the channels
  • Own and deploy channel budgets to achieve conversion, CAC and ROI targets
  • Input into annual wider marketing planning, budgeting and significant marketing campaigns
  • Collect and apply insights through both quantitative and qualitative forms into market trends, creative analysis and channel analytics
  • Execute and develop a test pipeline to drive innovation and optimise our performance OKRs
  • Run regular print and agency tenders for all offline marketing to ensure cost efficiencies across local channels

Performance Budgeting and Reporting

  • Fully responsible for spending and reporting channel budgets on schedule and identifying opportunities to spend more budget whilst maintaining or improving ROI
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual budget
  • Deliver weekly activity and performance reports for the wider team and senior management
  • Produce dashboards and keep them up-to-date 

Stakeholder Engagement and Management

  • Support all (local and global) CRM channel owners for locally executed mail campaigns
  • Liaise with other markets and channel owners to share best practices, creative solutions and test plans
  • Deliver successful business proposals gaining buy-in and positive engagement from others
  • Contribute to weekly meetings sharing your knowledge and expertise with the wider team and business
  • Manage our agency relationships in each channel
  • Review direct report responsibilities and ensure they are on track with targets and personal development

Who You Are:

  • A solid foundation of experience within offline marketing (direct sales and print)
  • Experience of managing complex direct marketing budgets and campaigns
  • Solid experience in prioritisation and workload planning
  • Experience of using data and insight to drive performance optimisation and improvement
  • Numerate with good analysis skills with ability to interpret results, translating this into direct actions
  • Experience of using qualitative and quantitative supporter/customer insight to develop products, propositions and campaigns
  • Strong verbal and written communication with experience in supplier management
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and be a self-starter
  • Confident in ability to co-work with people at all levels
  • Awareness of GDPR compliance and data security

Work Schedule: Hybrid working - 50/50 remote working & flexible start/finish times (role dependent)
