We’re looking for a highly talented Onboarding Specialist within the GTM organization, based in our Tokyo office. The ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated self-starter who can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. You will support our customers’ onboarding journey and growth. You will be responsible for identifying key revenue opportunities and providing optimal customer experience. You will also play an active role in developing various customer segments by identifying emerging business and value propositions that address client needs.

What you’ll be spending your time on:

  • Support new SMB customers on their Payoneer onboarding journey:
  • Using CRM tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Marketo to drive KYC approvals for our new customers; providing phone/Kakao/Line support for customer KYC approval.
  • Scalable email communication with new accounts while collaborating with operations teams
  • Providing lead qualification support to Insides Sales teams across different verticals to drive new business growth
  • Working closely with our e-commerce customers from Amazon, Shopee, eBay and others for a seamless onboarding experience
  • Analyze customer trends and user behavior to identify opportunities for scalable outreach and execute test-and-learn projects.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams such as Marketing, Partnerships, Operations to support new seller acquisition initiatives for marketplaces
  • Share feedback, insights and ideas in team meetings to contribute towards new business growth

As a key member of the sales organization, you will get a chance to work on live business cases and provide business solutions to customers leveraging your market insights and business acumen.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder or current bachelor’s degree student
  • 0-3 years of experience engaging with B2B customers via phone calls, emails and other digital media. SMB sales/service experience is a huge advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay on track to deliver against deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office – Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Good team player and highly self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills (Organized reporting and communication)
  • Strong desire to learn industry best practices and contribute to the organization
