We’re seeking a data-driven, customer-focused Onsite Marketing Specialist to optimize Wayfair’s digital storefront, driving engagement, conversion, and business impact. You’ll own key onsite initiatives, managing high-visibility landing pages—including the homepage—while ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.
Leveraging data insights, content management expertise, and strategic thinking, you’ll craft compelling onsite experiences. Collaborating with Brand, Creative, Performance Marketing, Curated Merch, and Product teams, you’ll enhance discoverability, support marketing campaigns, and drive growth.
Ideal for a detail-oriented marketing professional with 2-3 years of onsite or digital marketing experience, passionate about e-commerce optimization, data-driven decisions, and SEO best practices.
Key Responsibilities Onsite Content Strategy & Execution- Develop and execute onsite marketing initiatives, ensuring key landing pages align with business objectives, promotional priorities, and customer needs.
- Manage and optimize homepage and category pages, using data-driven content strategies to enhance engagement, conversion, and user experience.
- Leverage content management systems (CMS) to schedule, publish, and maintain high-impact onsite content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Apply SEO best practices, optimizing keywords, metadata, and internal linking strategies to improve organic visibility and search performance.
- Gain in-depth knowledge in Wayfair’s tooling landscape to ensure operational excellence on a day-to-day basis through troubleshooting.
- Analyze key performance metrics, identifying trends and insights to refine onsite marketing strategies and improve customer engagement.
- Conduct A/B testing and user behavior analysis, leveraging heatmaps, click tracking, and funnel insights to optimize content effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, consolidating data from analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker, Tableau) to track KPIs and inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance, track ROI, and generate actionable insights for continuous optimization.
- Refine reporting processes, ensuring stakeholders have access to clear, data-driven insights that support business objectives.
- Align onsite messaging with broader marketing campaigns, working closely with Brand, Creative, Curated Merch, and Product teams.
- Partner with the Storefront Product Team to support platform enhancements, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure an optimal user experience.
- Coordinate with regional marketing teams to develop localized strategies for UK B2C and B2B audiences while maintaining global brand consistency.
- Perform regular QA checks on onsite content, resolving issues promptly to maintain a seamless user experience.
- Develop and document best practices, ensuring a scalable and efficient content management workflow.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing fresh ideas and innovations in e-commerce and digital marketing.
- 2-3 years of experience in Onsite Marketing, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field (experience in retail or marketplace platforms is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English
- Strong data analysis capabilities, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and apply insights to optimize onsite content and strategy.
- Experience with analytics tools, including Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in A/B testing & CRO methodologies, with a strong understanding of user behavior analysis and conversion optimization.
- SEO expertise, with hands-on experience in keyword research, metadata optimization, and internal linking strategies.
- Technical aptitude, including a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and UX principles to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with development teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools for tracking KPIs and generating insights.
- Content management expertise, with experience optimizing onsite content within a CMS, preferably in an e-commerce setting.
- Stakeholder management & collaboration, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams to align strategies and execute campaigns effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring content accuracy, execution quality, and brand consistency.
- Project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
