Lyft is looking for a motivated and organized Operations Associate to join our Washington, DC Scooters team, full-time. In this role, you will help coordinate the daily operations of warehouse associates, drivers, and mechanics. You will report to an Operations Manager, and work with other Operations Associates to solve problems, implement processes, and develop initiatives to improve the reliability and availability of our scooter fleet. This team member will operate during the hours of 6 am - 4pm, 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of our central warehouse and maintenance facility
  • With guidance and support from Operations team members, manage shifts that will include staffing supervision, repair and warehouse flow, fleet management, ground operations, and administrative duties
  • Oversee, dispatch, and route field associates to pickup, deploy, and reposition the scooter fleet
  • Report on shift operations; leave detailed and relevant handover notes for the next shift operator and keep management and staffing representatives informed of any relevant updates
  • Collaborate with our field team to troubleshoot any potential issues, and communicate solutions to Operations team
  • Help brainstorm, test, and implement ideas for improving the rider experience and making behind-the-scenes operations more efficient and consistent
Experience:
  • Experience working in a complex, fast-moving, rapidly changing environment such as a distribution center, warehouse, restaurant, or delivery operation
  • Obsessed with process improvement
  • Track record of working cross-functionally
  • Strong team player but comfortable making decisions independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency with common technology tools like smartphones, Slack, and Google Sheets 
  • Ability to work non-standard work hours (6am - 4pm, 4 days per week) as needed including weekends, holidays, and shift-based schedules

The expected pay range for this position in the US is $49,190 - $57,870. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
