We are currently looking for an Operations Intern to support us with a wide variety of real-estate functions in Lisbon. As an Operations Intern, you'll dive headfirst into the world of flexible housing and will have an immersive experience in the heart of our operations. You'll work side by side with our team to deliver exceptional service to our residents, making their Habyt experience truly unforgettable.

Your Responsibilities

•  Collaborate with our Property Manager to oversee and monitor modernization and repair projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within established standards.
• Assume full responsibility for the setup and launch of new properties, overseeing all aspects of the process.
• Schedule, oversee, and assist contractors in ensuring the safety, quality, and cleanliness of work performed on-site.
• Take charge of day-to-day property operations, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
• Implement process improvements and streamline local operations, with a focus on setting up new, efficient procedures.
• Contact person for owners, asset managers, and tenants as well as assuming responsibility for comprehensive property management.
• Preparing handover and return of residential units.
• Conduct on-site visits and regularly review existing maintenance and service contracts.
• Checking utility bills to identify any discrepancies and areas for optimization.
• Identification and implementation of optimization potential in the managed portfolio as well as control and commissioning of property-related services.

Your Qualifications

• Passion for real estate management is a plus.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; knowledge of any other languages is advantageous.
• Ability to travel around Lisbon when needed. Travel card will be provided.
• Flexibility and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines.
• Possession of a driving license is advantageous.
• A hands-on approach to a variety of tasks is appreciated.
