As a Paid Search Supervisor, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns for a major international brand. Acting as the strategic SEM lead, you’ll oversee account structure, budget and bid management, and ongoing performance optimization. This role combines hands-on campaign management with team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the delivery of data-driven insights and performance reporting to clients.

You Will:
  • Balance team leadership with hands-on campaign execution, ensuring both team development and strong campaign performance.
  • Lead and oversee the development, implementation, and continuous optimization of SEM strategy for a major U.S. brand with $1M+ budgets.
  • Collaborate as part of a larger Media team, aligning campaigns across channels to reduce costs and improve performance through shared insights.
  • Translate business goals into platform-specific SEM strategies and tactics.
  • Own the day-to-day execution and performance management of multiple campaigns, including budget pacing, account structure, targeting and bid strategy, platform usage, data application, optimization, testing, and full-funnel performance enhancements.
  • Communicate paid search best practices and strategic recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
  • Create and share POVs and case studies to foster agency-wide learning.
  • Establish consistent processes and procedures across accounts to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Write compelling ad copy and guide CRO strategies to drive high-quality traffic and conversions.
  • Deliver insightful, visually compelling performance reports with strategic recommendations.
  • Identify consumer and market trends and tell a story through search data.
  • Implement iterative testing strategies to continuously improve performance.
  • Plan and execute SEM tactics across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.
  • Conduct regular SEM audits and competitive analyses, identifying new opportunities and delivering actionable client recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with SEM industry trends and platform changes, educating clients and adapting strategies accordingly.

 

You Have:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Search Ads 360.
  • Experience with Performance Max, Demand Gen, Discovery, Video, and Display campaigns.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing teams, coaching for performance, and driving success while overseeing key accounts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate paid search strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong client-facing experience, including leading strategy development, managing day-to-day communication, and ensuring campaign alignment with client objectives.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to manage workflows and align on campaign goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor junior and senior team members to support growth and maintain high performance.
  • Deep expertise in technical SEM execution, platform management, and data-driven reporting across SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and related tools.
  • Experience managing monthly and annual budgets, including forecasting, pacing, and working with finance teams on reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, using performance data to optimize campaigns and deliver measurable ROI improvements.
  • Excellent prioritization and time-management abilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading conversion rate optimization initiatives and A/B testing strategies.
  • Skilled in creating and presenting reports and performance updates with a focus on data visualization and actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Agency experience preferred, with an understanding of client service expectations and fast-turnaround deliverables.
  • Experience with Shopping campaigns and Merchant Center is a plus.
