Location Qualifications: This is a 3 day a week, 9 month long contract opportunity. The Part Time Workplace assistant is required to be in the Showpad London office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week.
Position Overview:
The Workplace team is committed to providing an excellent employee experience for our Showpadder community. The onsite team’s primary responsibility is to ensure smooth onsite management of our offices to foster a productive and collaborative work environment. The London Workplace Assistant plays an integral role in bringing this to life for our UK team whilst working on a global Workplace team in partnership with many other departments.
This role is a 3 day a week, 9 month long contract opportunity. The Part Time Workplace assistant is required to be in the Showpad London office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage guest experience: manage logistics and welcome guests and new or visiting colleagues to the office by submitting visitors into the building portal, liaising with the security team and building manager to ensure smooth experiences, and greeting the visitors or colleagues on arrival.
- Manage office operations: submit building requests via the building portal, including vendor deliveries and maintenance, maintain relationships with landlord and floor neighbors.
- Execute office and experience tasks: order and stock office and kitchen supplies and food, organize happy hours and in-office events, organize employee lunches, assist the local team with onsite questions and experience management, and other ad-hoc duties.
- Upkeep, stocking, and maintenance of the lobby, kitchen and dining area, conference rooms, and Arena event space.
- Work with the onsite team to facilitate smooth client visit experiences, workshops, and training sessions.
- Complete tasks while observing budget management for the Workplace 2024 budget
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Whilst previous experience is preferred, motivated individuals are welcome to apply!
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- People Skills – the ability to work with people at all levels, multiple cultures, and various ways of working
- A welcoming attitude with a passion for customer centricity
- Organized and process-driven
