Team Description

You’ll join our Partnerships Team, which drives SumUp’s growth across Europe by forming meaningful relationships with key external partners. Within the Partner Acquisition function, you’ll be laser-focused on acquiring new ISV partners that integrate SumUp payments into their platforms — expanding our reach to thousands of small businesses.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and acquire new ISV partnerships by researching, networking, and directly engaging with target companies that align with SumUp’s API/SDK proposition
• Lead commercial and technical discussions with ISVs, present SumUp’s integration value, and negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships
• Manage the integration journey, coordinating with internal teams to ensure partners go live smoothly and deliver strong merchant adoption
• Work collaboratively across SumUp’s product, marketing, and engineering teams to share partner feedback and influence go-to-market strategies

You’ll Be Great for This Role If

• You bring 5+ years of commercial experience in partner acquisition, business development, or sales –ideally within FinTech or the POS sector
• You have a deep understanding of ISV ecosystems, APIs, and SDKs, and can confidently bridge technical and business conversations
• You excel in stakeholder management, communicating complex value propositions clearly and persuasively
• You’re a self-starter who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments and takes ownership to deliver measurable results
