THE JOURNEY

  • Define and implement the vision and mid-/long-term strategy for Partner Ads in Glovo Italy. Establish the team and processes necessary for yearly success, maximizing the potential of our platform's partner base.
  • Take ultimate responsibility for P&L-related aspects within Italy's team.
  • Develop a robust foundation for Business Plan purposes, financial performance monitoring, and forecasting of:
  • Partner Ads
  • Affordability
  • Commercial Processes
  • Lead a cross-functional team of more than five professionals to execute projects across various commercial teams, including Regions, Longtail, and National Accounts, to ensure effective execution and collaboration in:
  • Join the regional leadership team and promote collaboration with other departments, such as commercial, sales, long tail, and q-commerce, to facilitate smooth execution of all commercial operations.
  • Identify and establish sales, operations, and growth processes to maximize Glovo’s partnerships.
  • Identify and develop key tools in collaboration with HQ teams, ensuring that each commercial team is well-equipped to achieve its goals and maintain the right level of skills and continuous improvement in line with HQ developments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HQ commercial teams, ensuring the effective rollout of global best practices and tests in Italy. Additionally, provide feedback and influence HQ roadmaps.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Experience in commercial or business development roles.
  • Experience in other fast-paced/high growth companies.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English 
  • Advanced knowledge on Google Sheets, Looker and SQL as a plus.
  • Experience mentoring, managing, and coaching teams
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into solutions
  • Experience in working across functions to plan, prioritize and execute complex cross-departmental projects that involve multiple technologies.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues/opportunities, recommend solutions and develop methodologies
  • You take accountability and are determined to get things done: no job is too big or too small, always showing excellent levels of resourcefulness.
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to convince and persuade others. You don’t take no for an answer.
  • Love (the idea of!) working in high growth and high-performance teams with a fast pace environment.
